GREAT as a Textbook
Why This Program is Priceless...
Historical Conquest Now Has Textbooks
We have two types of textbooks, standard or living book format where those who lived the experience tell you about their stories. Here are your choices and more about them.
Standard Textbooks - These aren't just standard textbooks with boring materials to read, instead, these are the most indepth resource guides you can have when teaching history. Each book includes lessons plans, a plethora of topics on each subject, highlights of famous and infamous historical figures, global events during that time period, vocabulary, and activities for each unit. In the back of the book you will also find cross-curricular lessons where you can mix history and math, history and science, or history and English; and assessments to cover the knowledge found throughout the book.
The Heroes and Villains Series is like a story behind each book's topic, where historical figures in each of those times tell their own story and teach the reader about topics, like government, technology, and culture as they experienced it. As one mother put it "The writing itself is superb. I love it being first person narrative. If the goal is for students/ readers to be engaged, and therefore retain more information, it accomplishes that. It is easier to read and retain."
