Historical Conquest™ was created in 2003 as a concept product for a college English class assignment. The assignment was to create a product that would change the world, but it had to be doable in a dorm setting. After that class, founder Zack Edwards took the idea and merged the market research and product development into other class assignments. At that point, Zack began to see more purpose in his classes and the lessons he was learning had more meaning to them. These cards were released soon afterwards.

 

One year later he was married, and soon after that his wife wisely told him to put the game away and get a real job. Even though there was a great deal of interest in the game, he saw the wisdom in her request and sought other employment. The intervening years yielded many life-changing experiences and brought many key people into Zack’s life. These are the cards that were designed when Zack and his partners brought back the idea of Historical Conquest: The Game.

These were lost for some time and then recovered back in Alaska, where Zack used to live. There is one tote of these decks and packs that have never before been circulated. Last month, April 2021, he traveled up there to reclaim them from a friend who was keeping them safe. Now he is making a few of them available. Scroll through to see them all.
